Last week tongues were set wagging when popstar Cheryl was spotted at the FH Block recording studio in Ealing, London with Brit nominee J Hus. The pair posed for a photo together and a number of media outlets jumped on the bandwagon insisting that the hitmakers where working on a collaboration.

The reality in fact is the two performers were simply introduced and posed for a quick snap together. FH Block Studio were quick to call out the articles as “fake news”.

While J Hus, who rose to fame last year with his unique sound, also posted on Twitter to deny the rumours.

But, Cheryl is officially back in the recording studio working with a number of Afrobeat producers including Team Salut, and she has also enlisted world renowned producer Naughty Boy to work on her upcoming fifth studio album.

The 34-year-old, mother-of-one will make her music comeback later this year, the new record will be her first since her 2014 release ‘Only Human‘. The former X Factor judge who is set to return to the show this season has also been working with 2017 winners Rak-Su.
